United Way St. Croix Valley
"LIVE UNITED - Change Lives."
United Way St. Croix Valley accepts designations to affiliated charities only.
United Way St. Croix Valley unites communities, focuses resources and inspires people to measurably improve lives in Western Wisconsin. We identify community needs and build coalitions to address them. Our three priority areas are: Meeting Basic and Emergency Needs, Strengthening Children and Families and Promoting Health and Independence. We fund more than 60 local nonprofit agencies working to achieve our objectives for each priority. We also have three initiatives. Our Food Resource Center provides food to local food pantries and shelters. Success By 6 provides early childhood education and resources. Shelter for All funds several shelters and affordable housing programs.

Making a difference in the neighboring communities of Minnesota:
All three of my kids were involved in Family Resource Center’s Play and Learn groups. It was great for me as a stay-at-home mom to be with other parents, and it was wonderful for my kids. It provided them structure and activities to get them ready for school and opportunities for literacy with story time. They met people and read to them, and it was great they were interacting with books with people other than me. I’m pleased we got the chance to work with Family Resource Center and wish more people could get involved with them.
