The United Way of Freeborn County is dedicated to advancing the common good for our residents through giving, advocating and volunteering. This challenges each individual to look inside themselves and determine how they can best help our community to thrive.

United Way is focused on essential services within the areas of Education, Income and Health and works with 35 community programs in Freeborn County. We collaborate with various community organizations to determine how to address the issues that affect our community such as hunger, domestic violence and drug abuse. We recognize that it takes a whole community to truly affect the conditions we face.

In 2010 over 29,000 people were impacted from programs supported by United Way of Freeborn County.
