The Combined Charities Campaign is a unique opportunity for Minnesota state employees to donate to the charity or charities of your choice through the convenience of payroll deduction and support vital health, education, environmental, arts, and social service programs in our state.
Contributing through the Combined Charities Campaign maximizes your gift by allowing you to take a small deduction from each paycheck. Over the course of the year, this can add up, helping Minnesota charities in a big way.
The choice is yours. Charitable federations participating in this campaign are assessed each year by Minnesota Management and Budget and must meet stringent statutory guidelines for accountability. There are 37 approved charitable federations to choose from that represent hundreds of charities working in communities across the state. Many of these federations allow you to designate your gift to a specific charity or qualified 501(c)3 nonprofit.
Payroll deductions will begin with the first paycheck in January 2012 and continue through December 2012. One-time payroll deductions will be deducted from the first paycheck in January 2012.
