United Way of Greater Duluth works to advance the common good by focusing on critical needs in the Greater Duluth area. We do this by researching, identifying, analyzing and reporting on our community’s most pressing issues. By strategically investing in local programs and high-impact initiatives, we achieve measurable outcomes and demonstrate results. We are committed to addressing the following community priorities:

1. Education: Fostering Successful Children & Youth;

2. Income: Promoting Financial Stability & Independence;

3. Health: Improving People’s Health; and

4. Basic Needs: Ensuring a Strong Network of Basic Human Services.

United Way of Greater Duluth will honor designations to its funded partners and other United Ways; however, the designations must be $50 or more per agency. If the agency to which a donor designates is not eligible for United Way of Greater Duluth designations, United Way will contact the donor and offer to return the gift and/or to designate the gift to the appropriate impact area. United Way makes every effort to process donor gifts in accordance to donor wishes. However, if the designation information is incomplete, incorrect or not attached to a United Way Pledge Form, the designation will be credited to the Community Care Fund.
